雪吊り作業が始まりました
Yukitsuri Installation at Kenrokuen Garden
冬の風物詩のご案内です。
雪吊りとは、北陸の湿った重い雪から木の枝を守るため、縄で枝を吊る伝統的な作業です。
県内各地でご覧いただけますが、なかでも兼六園の雪吊りは実用的な目的にとどまらず、仕上がりがとても美しく
金沢の冬を代表する景観として知られています。
庭師たちが軽やかに背の高い木の上を移動し、縄を配っていく姿は圧巻です。
ぜひ、この時期ならではの冬の風情を感じてみてはいかがでしょうか。
兼六園では、11月1日～12月中旬頃まで行われる予定です。

Kanazawa winter tradition
Yukitsuri is a traditional technique used to protect tree branches from the heavy and wet snow in the Hpkuriku area, and it is a symbol of Kanazawa’s winter scenery.
You can see Yukitsuri throughout the prefecture, but the ones at Kenrokuen Garden are especially famous.
The Yukitsuri at Kenrokuen is not only for its practical purpose but also for elegant appearance.
The sight of gardeners moving lightly among tall trees and hanging the ropes is truly impressive.
At Kenrokuen Garden, this work is carried out from November 1st to mid-December.
