Kenrokuen garden is classified as one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan, located in the central Kanazawa, next to Kanazawa castle. Kenrokuen can be translated as "garden of six elements" which incorporates six features of an excellent landscape garden stated in Chinese poem : Spaciousness, Seclusion, Artiflice, Antiquity, Use of water and Panoramas. Only few minutes away on foot from our hotel, enjoy free admission before sunrise.

Kanazawa castle sits in the center of Kanazawa city. This castle was resided by Maeda family for almost three centuries. Over the centuries the castle burnt down repeatedly and was never rebuilt unitl 1990s when the project of reconstruction has finally started. There is no entrance fee for the Kanazawa castle park itself.
21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa

Omicho Market is known as Kanazawa's largest food market where most shops specialize in fresh local seafood. Many shops sell light meal such as fresh oysters, sea urchin and fish skewers that you can eat as you walk around. It is highly recommended to visit in the morning or lunchtime for most of the stores close around 4:30p.m.

Myoryuji Temple is commonly known as Ninja temple, because of its hidden rooms, trap doors and secret passageways. This temple has actually no connection with the ninjas, but it was built to protect the lord during military preparation. Reservation is required for admission. The guided tour is given in Japanese; however, English guidebook is available onsite.
